Inflatable Plug

An inflatable plug is a butt plug that starts small for easy insertion and then expands via a hand pump attached by a thin tube. Squeezing the pump pushes air into the plug, increasing its diameter inside the body. A release valve lets the air out before removal. Most are made from latex or silicone. They are used by people who want to experience a larger feeling of fullness than a standard fixed-size plug allows, or who want precise control over the intensity of stretch.

HOW TO LOOK AFTER IT

Before cleaning
Deflate fully before removal and before cleaning.

Cleaning
Wash with warm water and unscented soap. Latex plugs cannot be sterilised by boiling. Silicone versions without motors can be boiled if the pump mechanism is detachable.

Lubricant
Use only water-based lubricant with latex. Silicone-based lubricant degrades latex.

Inspection
Inspect the tube and valve connection after each use. Small cracks or weak spots in the tubing are a sign the plug needs replacing.
